Welcome Letter
Who can join and how? Membership is open to all UCSD students regardless of major. All you have to do is subscribe to our e-mail list and show up to events.
To subscribe to our e-mail list, visit this page, or e-mail aiaa@ucsd.edu.
Membership fees? Event fees? Why, no! It is free to attend all AIAA at UCSD meeting and events unless noted. However, a National Student Membership is necessary to attend conferences and compete in DBF. It is also highly encouraged that members join AIAA National for a nominal fee of $20.
Why should I join AIAA National?
- $2000 Scholarships for sophomores, juniors, and seniors - 30 to choose from
- Network opportunities with industry leaders
- Student discounts on professional conferences, local section events, and technical meetings
- Member discounts - 30-40% off AIAA textbooks
